Community Building
Following the consultation with you, the community, in December 2024 we are looking into providing you with a community building. We will be taking onboard your responses at the consultation to provide you with a building to be used in the ways you envisage.​

Road Adoptions
The roads within your residential estate are in the process of being formally adopted by the Council. The bus service updates are required to be in operation prior to this. We will update you here once the roads are fully adopted.
​​New Community Park
You will be excited to know that a new park will be developed soon.Planning permission was granted for this in March 2024 (Application: AWDM/0636/16) with the plans shown in the Masterplan illustration.
Once this is completed, the park will provide a large children’s play area, a multi-use games area (MUGA), three junior pitches, and allotments.
Enabling works have started on the new park, which includes a section of hedge removal to allow for future access between the new allotment plots and the Humber allotment plots.
The children’s play area equipment is currently scheduled to be installed early July, with sign off and the grand opening in late Autumn. We will continue to update you on the schedule through this page.
The sports pitch is scheduled to begin works in the summer. It will take around 12 months for the turf to take and so they are anticipated to be available for use in summer 2026.
The Allotment construction work is due to start in July / August 2025. Following completion, an inspection by the Borough Council will be undertaken and they will then be offered for transfer to the allotment society.
