Autumn 2026 COMMUNITY UPDATES

Community Building

Plans for the new community building continue to progress, with a planning application anticipated to be submitted in Autumn 2026. Further updates will be provided as the project progresses through the planning process.

Road Adoptions and Infrastructure

The wider infrastructure across the development continues to progress through the adoption process. Remedial works are being undertaken where required, and we will continue to provide updates as key milestones are reached.

Community Park and Play Area

The community park and children's play area are now open and under the ownership and management of Worthing Borough Council.

Residents and visitors are welcome to enjoy these facilities. Any enquiries relating to the play area should be directed to Worthing Borough Council's Open Spaces Team.

Sports Pitches

The sports pitches have been planted and are currently undergoing an establishment period to allow the grass to properly bed in before public use.

Please respect the Heras fencing and do not enter the area at this time. Due to recent weather conditions, additional establishment works may be required, and any damage caused by unauthorised access could delay the transfer of the pitches to Worthing Borough Council.

Further updates will be provided once the pitches are ready to open.

Allotments

The allotments have been completed and are awaiting transfer to Adur and Worthing for onwards transfer to the allotment society.

Please respect the Heras fencing and do not access the allotment area until it has been formally handed over. Early use may impact the establishment period and could delay the transfer process.

Further updates will be provided once the transfer arrangements have been finalised.

Landscaping and Communal Green Spaces

Communal landscaped areas and green spaces throughout the development are managed and maintained by FirstPort. These areas remain under the management company's control in accordance with the approved management arrangements.
